Classes

At Ards Arts Centre we have an extensive programme of creative classes and workshops for both adults and children, with something to suit every interest. So, whether you’d like to learn a new skill, enhance your existing talents, or simply want to relax and enjoy some ‘me’ time in a welcoming environment, there’s no better place to visit.

With more than 30 different classes and workshops on offer, just some of these include:

• Painting
• Drawing
• Ceramics
• Patchwork
• Calligraphy
• Silversmithing
• Guitar
• Children’s art classes

We also host a number of Outreach Taster Workshops at various other venues across the Ards and North Down area, so you can get creative with us wherever you are in the borough.

Our classes run during the following term times: 

• January – April (up to 10 weeks)
• May – August (up to 6 weeks)
• September – December (up to 10 weeks)

If you’re interested in joining a class or workshop then you can enrol online for that term when bookings open. You can enrol online up to one day before a class is spaces are available, however our classes and workshops are very popular and often book up quickly, so early enrolment is advised.
