Heritage Project Grants are available to assist heritage-based events, projects or activities that take place in the Ards and North Down Borough.
Heritage Project Fund
The Ards and North Down Borough Council’s Heritage Project Funding is designed to assist heritage events, projects or activities, which take place in the North Down and Ards District.
Who can apply?
Non-profit making organisations and constituted groups located in the borough, or projects that are of benefit to residents within the borough.
What is available?
A maximum grant of £500 is available.

Ulster-Scots Heritage Talk Fund
Available to historical societies and heritage-interest groups for Ulster-Scots Heritage talks and events taking place in the Ards and North Down Borough Council area between 1 September 2025 – 31 March 2026
Applications are invited from constituted historical societies and heritage-interest groups who wish to apply for funding towards the costs involved in organising a publicly accessible Ulster-Scots Heritage talk or event within Ards and North Down Borough Council area in 2025-26. Only one application will be accepted per group.
