A solo exhibition of paintings by Pandora Butterfield
Pandora Butterfield presents paintings and drawings inspired by her garden and surroundings of the beautiful shores of Strangford Lough as it evolves through early spring and into summer.
The garden is a dynamic entity, not only does it change with its seasons but it changes with the weather and time of day.
For many, lockdown was a time to stand and stare and take in what is around us. Our gardens have become more important, an escape for some, a joy for others but always adding meaning to life.
While an artist first and foremost, Pandora is also a passionate gardener, the one feeds the other. This exhibition promotes the idea that the beauty within the garden speaks to us and recognises our need for something beyond the material - the power of nature to engage with human spirit.
You are invited to join us for an exhibition opening reception on Thurs 8 Sept from 7pm - 9pm.
