An exhibition exploring boat building at the boat yard in Ballyholme.
Successive owners — from McCormick to Lovett, Slater, Cowley, and Smyth — sustained a proud tradition of craftsmanship and though the yard has closed, their legacy endures in the boats that still sail.
From the 1920s Dancing Class yachts to wartime minesweepers and the graceful S Class cruisers of the postwar years, each vessel reflected skill, innovation, and pride in local workmanship.
Co-produced by Betty Armstrong, NI correspondent for Afloat magazine, this exhibition spotlights the boats, their builders and the lasting impact of their craft on the community.
