Ards and North Down Arts Bursaries Currently Open for Applications
The Arts Service of Ards and North Down Borough Council currently have two Arts Bursaries open for applications. Residency Bursaries to the Tyrone Guthrie Centre, and Ballinglen Arts Foundation, are available to professional practicing Artists and Makers who reside in the borough.
The bursaries are available to artists located in the Ards and North Down Borough and are subject to budget confirmation.
The Ballinglen Arts Foundation Bursary, is a two-week residency in Ballycastle, County Mayo. The residency is aimed at visual artists providing them with time to develop their artistic practice.
The Tyrone Guthrie Centre Bursary is a one-week residency for practitioners in all art forms who are based in the Borough. The aim of this bursary is to assist and encourage both established and emerging practitioners.
Application deadline for both bursaries is: Friday 10 February at 11.59pm (sharp)
Speaking about the bursaries, Emily Crawford, Arts and Heritage Manager for Ards and North Down Borough Council said:
“We are so pleased to be able to offer multiple bursary opportunities to our local artists. These residencies create time and space to support artists in their developing careers.”
