Learning at Ards Arts Centre
Exhibition visits for schools and groups
To truly appreciate an artist’s work, nothing compares to seeing it up close, away from the pages of a textbook or online image. At Ards Arts Centre, we encourage schools and community groups to visit our exhibitions so they can experience a range of artwork first-hand and benefit from a unique learning experience outside the classroom.
We feature a variety of work, so it’s a great way to introduce young people and community groups to a range of different styles, as well as to new artists.
All visits to our galleries are free of charge.
Art workshops
We also provide art workshops upon request which are inspired by our exhibition series and lead by professional artists.
NB There are associated costs for the workshops to cover materials and artist fees. Contact us to find out more.
For more information or to book a group visit contact Ards Arts Centre on 028 9181 0803 or email arts@ardsandnorthdown.gov.uk
