An exhibition exploring 90 years of Bangor Drama Club.

Bangor Drama Club was founded in October 1935 by talented local residents with an interest in the theatre. In its 90 years of existence the club has produced hundreds of plays, won many accolades, travelled across the world and nurtured some the finest acting talent to come out of Ulster.

This exhibition highlights some of these important events and influential people and explores the contribution the club has made to the development of the dramatic arts in this area. As part of this rich history the club has amassed an extensive archive of materials that document its many achievements. These include photographs, theatre programmes and other fascinating items from the club’s history which will be on display as part of this exhibition.
