Daniel Coleman will present an exhibition of new paintings that explore place and the personal.

Using memory and time, he will examine the significance of the everyday. His work is steeped in symbolism and meaning, in relation to his rural Irish upbringing. 

Daniel is a Visual Artist specialising in painting and is a studio holder of Platform Arts, Belfast. Selected recent group exhibitions include, ‘MATTERS OF TABLE’, Periphery Space, Wexford (2023), ‘193rd RHA Annual Exhibition’, RHA, Dublin (2023), ‘URGENCIES (2023)’, CCA, Derry (2023), and ‘New Exits: 10 Years of Painting Shows’, The MAC, Belfast (2022–2023). He is also a member of the drawing collective, ‘The Drawing Journal’, selected recent collaborations include, ‘Quiet Wanders Laughing’, Hyde Bridge Gallery, Sligo (2023). 

Daniel is the recipient of the RHA/ Áras Éanna Residency Award, Inis Oírr, Co. Galway (2021) and is shortlisted for The Hennessy Craig Award and The Homan Potterton Prize, RHA, Dublin (2024).
