An exhibition by Donaghadee Camera Club.
In the post war period, photography became a popular pastime as new and more affordable cameras came onto the market. As interest grew, many camera clubs formed across Britain and Ireland. Donaghadee was no exception and in November 1955, a group of local enthusiasts first met to discuss and explore their passion for this artform. Seventy years later the group is still going strong.
This exhibition explores some of the images produced over the past seven decades by its members. It highlights the huge technological changes that have taken place in this period and how this has affected the evolution of photograph
