This year North Down Museum celebrates its 40th anniversary. This exhibition will look back at the origins of the collection and the founding of the museum.
Charting the growth of the museum from two rooms of exhibits open once a week, to a busy and thriving heritage service with over 70,000 visitors per year.
Join us in exploring our roots and looking forward to an exciting future serving the community through celebrating the rich and diverse history of our borough.
We will also be hosting a series of free talks in October to mark 40 years of heritage service.
