Mornings in G Major

Listen to the morning in these spirited and lively oil paintings by Wicklow based artist, Kayla Martell.   

 All scenes are painted from life and embrace Kayla’s love of dynamic, layered brushwork. The exhibition explores a variety of morning scenes from Sunday morning sessions to desserts picked up at local markets.   

Kayla lives and paints in the countryside of Wicklow, where she loves bringing to live the spirit of every day things on the canvas. Her paintings have been shown at the Royal Society of Oil Painters, the Royal Society of Marine Artists, among other exhibitions. She is currently an associate member of the Society of Women Artists where she exhibits in their annual exhibition at the mall galleries.
