A solo exhibition by Kim Montgomery.
Kim Montgomery is a visual artist whose work combines figurative representational drawing, painting and collage, with real and imagined autobiographical narratives.
She observes and gathers sources from life, personal photographs, and collected ephemera - exploring romanticism for the throwaway treasure, and the space between memory and aspiration.
Current research themes are devotion and the visual representation of the unseen. Depicting beauty and the domestic, observing light in everyday scenes, and relational figures in personal settings.
Kim’s identity as mother, wife, artist and person of faith are recurring motifs.
