Calling all Little Historians! Step into Castle Park and discover how one familiar place has changed over thousands of years.

In this three-day summer workshop, children aged 7-12 will explore the park’s hidden history, from the lives of early people who relied on the landscape for survival to how it is used and cared for today.

This hands-on programme combines outdoor exploration with creative indoor activities. Through storytelling, making and discovery, children will investigate nature and learn how Castle Park is a place full of layers, memories and stories still unfolding.

This is a 3-day workshop. Admission is £30 per child which covers all 3 days.
Children should bring a snack, water bottle and packed lunch each day.
Suitable outdoor shoes and clothing also required.
