The High Lonesome is a honky tonk band based in Belfast, known for their authentic blend of classic country tunes and original songs.
Since forming in 2018, the band has captured the hearts of audiences with their infectious energy and unmatched musicianship. Led by Paul Reid on acoustic guitar and vocals, The High Lonesome features a lineup of talented musicians who bring their own unique flair to the stage, creating an unforgettable experience for fans of all ages.
Their debut single 'Woman in a Hurry' was No.1 on the Downtown Country chart for 5 weeks and played extensively on Radio Ulster by Ralph McLean. Their second single called ‘Country Fever’ was the Christmas No.1 on Ireland's Hot 7 Country chart.
