‘Adopt the pace of nature, her secret is patience’ - Ralph Waldo Emerson
This exhibition captures the essence of nature. Patience is a skill very much required whilst working with clay.
Ellen's love of nature and geology inspires her use of colour, depth and texture. She will endeavour to replicate the irregularity and imperfections and grasp the beauty of nature within each piece. Ellen uses unusual techniques whilst creating print, sculpture and wall pieces using various clays and patience to enhance and capture the beauty of nature.
