Now in its 21st year, this thriving annual event is back for 2022!
The 2022 programme sees a thriving and diverse programme of activity, including 2 new events: Creative Peninsula at the Walled Garden, Helen's Bay and Creative Peninsula at The Ulster Folk Museum!
You will also find annual favourites including Creative Peninsula in the Square on Friday 5 August, Workshops at Ards Arts Centre and at the Artist's Own Studios, and Demonstrations all taking place throughout the beautiful and picturesque Ards and North Down Borough.
In addition, you can take a sneak peek inside some artist’s studios with the Open Studio Weekend on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 August.
If you are a practising artist or maker, we also have some very special Professional Development sessions designed with the needs of the creative sector in mind.
The region is well known for its abundance of artists and makers and during the Creative Peninsula event visitors have the opportunity to view work, purchase or commission a unique piece of art or try their hand in one of the many workshops.
