Robert Stewart, Viscount Castlereagh, 2nd Marquess of Londonderry was born in 1769 and spent his youth in his family home at Mount Stewart.
He entered politics at a young age and went on to play a lead role on the world stage. His tragic death cut short a fascinating political career and devastated his loving family. This exhibition explores this fascinating yet controversial man.
