A solo exhibition by Claudia Rose
This exhibition, by Claudia Rose, draws inspiration from the historical relationship of the Ards Peninsula to textile industries in Ireland and influence of Irish Lace.
Claudia visualises a sculptural/print homage that connects the intrinsic and laborious nature with contemporary materiality upon the artefacts drawn from a period of socio-cultural poverty, social inequity, and yearning of autonomy.
Claudia Rose is a multi-disciplinary artist who observes the collective desire to place sentience upon objects and spaces.
