Bad Dad by David Walliams - Walled Garden Theatre

So, pack your picnics, grab your wet weather gear or sun-cream (or both), something to sit on, and join Frank and Gilbert as they navigate their way through car chases and convicts in the struggle to escape the clutches of the local crime lord and clear Gilbert’s name.

We are pleased to be able to bring you outdoor theatre performances by Heartbreak Productions to Bangor Castle Walled Garden in 2023.

Please note:

• Please bring your own blanket.

• We would ask you to bear in mind that the space will be limited and would ask that you would only take up the appropriate blanket space for the size of your party.

• You are welcome to bring a picnic, however, please note that alcohol is not permitted. Coffee Cure Café will also be open to purchase refreshments. For evening performances, the café will close after the interval. Please note that Coffee Cure operates as cash only payment.

• We will not be providing seats or gazebos. 

• Seats and umbrellas are discouraged as these will prevent your fellow audience members from being able to see and can impact the overall theatre experience for everyone.  However, if you want to bring your own seat, you are welcome to do so but please note you will be located towards the back of the seating area to minimise obstructing others viewing. Gazebos are not permitted.

• The performance will take place unless the weather makes continuing the performance unsafe, it will go ahead in rain, hail or shine. Please dress accordingly. 

• With the exception of Guide Dogs and Assistance Dogs, dogs are not permitted to the outdoor theatre performances.

• Performances are suitable for ages 7 years and over. All children must have a ticket.

• If you are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 or recently tested positive, we would ask that you do not attend.
