Ever wanted to make some noise and be part of a carnival street band?
Beat Carnival are looking for budding percussionists to join a free 5-week training programme where you’ll learn the rhythms, energy and performance skills of carnival drumming.
Open to all ages, this is perfect for beginners or anyone who fancies trying something new. No experience needed - just come along, pick up a drum and get stuck in.
Over five weeks you’ll learn how to play together as a band, build your confidence and meet others who enjoy music, creativity and a bit of craic along the way.
By the end of the programme, the group will be ready to take to the streets and share the sound of carnival!

- Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, so please check all details carefully when booking.
- Class / workshop bookings are taken on a first come first serve basis.
- All classes and workshops must be booked in advance and fees are payable in full.
- We make a decision on whether to run a course / workshop one week before the start date. Please help us to help you by enrolling promptly.
- Participants will be required to bring their own materials, unless otherwise stated.
- As we have set up and cleaning time between each class, we ask that participants do not arrive more than 15 minutes prior to the class start time.
