Exclusively for members of the AND Arts Network, the focus of this season’s session will be something a little different to the norm as we explore Digital and Immersive Arts!

You’re invited to join us for the next AND Arts Network Social at Ards Arts Centre.

Exclusively for members of the AND Arts Network, the focus of this season’s session will be something a little different to the norm!

In collaboration with Arts Council of Northern Ireland, we are delighted to welcome a selection of Northern Ireland’s leading Digital and Immersive Artists who will be showcasing their work at Ards Art Centre.

This is an opportunity to meet some of Northern Ireland’s most exciting digital and immersive artists and experience their innovative and exciting work at first hand.

Even if you are not planning to venture into the digital arts world, this will be a fun and fascinating insight into what is possible in this ever evolving medium!

Each artist will showcase their work with short presentations, and you will be able to ‘have a go’ experiencing some of the projects first hand in Virtual and Augmented Reality.

Artists showcasing will include visual arts, performance, music, literature, and heritage, so there should be something of interest, no matter your creative practice.

Digital Arts Studios will also be in attendance to answer any technical questions and provide advice should digital and immersive arts be something you are considering exploring.

Matthew Malcolm, Creative Industries Development Officer of the ACNI, will also be present to speak briefly about Arts Council of Northern Ireland’s National Lottery Digital Evolution programmes should you be interested in translating your creative practice into new and emerging technology.

Light refreshments and time to network with your creative peers also provided!

This afternoon session is for artists and stakeholders, however if this time is not suitable, you are also welcome to attend the public session that evening from 5 – 8pm (drop-in).
